Blessing Wednesday / Word Wednesday



I'm not sure about the rest of you, but we are experiencing some beautiful--and hot--weather up here in the North. It's making for a fantastic summer.


So, today I am blessed by:
~The fact I live by a lake. Well. Lotsa lakes. But one REALLY big one called Lake Michigan:) It's a blessing easily taken for granted when you've grown up here, but isn't it pretty?


~popsicles


~water balloons


~sprinklers


~sun tan lotion. I have two colors - white or red, just depends on if I've put it on or not:)

And for those memorizing with me, it's the last week for learning this verse. Keep on going!

    We're being warned that a heat wave is coming here in Minnesota. Until now it's been comfortably warm - but it should be changing in the next couple of days. I'm also very thankful for the lakes near our home and for the Mississippi out my back door. Water is so refreshing.

    I'm thankful for small communities, like the one I live in, and for supportive family who is available at the drop of a hat. I don't know what I'd do without them.

      I love our small community too. We can bike anywhere and everyone helps keep an eye out. Great blessing:)

    I'm blessed by A/C on a craaaazy hot day. :)

    And by fun progress in my writing.

    And the fact that I get to visit my amazingly awesome nephew this week!!

      Ollie? Oh I hope you post pictures! And writing progress is ALWAYS a blessing! I got in 2800 words last night and was crazy happy:)

    Beautiful photo of Lake Michigan!

    Today I'm thankful for my daughter helping me do some late Spring cleaning! Feels good to get some if those bigger chores taken care of.

    I'm steam cleaning the carpet today, and I'm thankful that I'm ABLE to do it. :)

    What a beautiful place to live.

    I'm thankful it's hot and not freezing right now.

    I've been wanting to paint my front door, and my husband did it tonight while I was at work.

    I'm thankful my youngest son is home for the summer.

    I'm thankful my oldest son and his family live close by.

    I'm thankful to God for so much there's not enough room to list all my blessings.
    But I must list two more, my dad and brother were diagnosed with cancer earlier this past year.
    Dad got good results back yesterday, and they think they got all my brother's cancer.

    Thanks, Susan for slowing me down to think about my blessings!
