Today I am so thankful for:
~My body. I Zumba'd this week...now, I am not graceful, I'm completely uncoordinated, my knees hurt and so does my back...oh we all have things we can pick on--don't even get me started on my list that I see when I look in the mirror! BUT I'm working on changing this. Because we get to choose our attitudes, don't we? So I"m thankful today that I can move. I have all four limbs and they all work. And so does my laughter...and laughter is a great thing.
~Help from my dad who came over and tore the roof off our shed to fix it for us. HUGE blessing!
~peach tea
~cool, fall nights for perfect sleeping weather
~God's love. And I'm talking about those moments where He overpowers you with it. Reaches out and encompasses you with it. Gives you just a glimpse of how much He LOVES you, and you end up a blubbery mess. If you've never felt God's amazing love for YOU, ask Him to show you today, because it's the BIGGEST blessing of all:)
What blessings are you thankful for today?
I am also thankful for Zumba though it hurts my back most of the time too.
ReplyDeleteI'm thankful for a clean house, good friends, and after yesterday freedom. Since that was on my mind all day.
Clean houses always make me thankful - specially when I don't have to clean them:) And yes, we do think of freedom this time of year. Great blessings:)
DeleteI love Zumba! It does take some laughter to get through it, but it's always worth the effort. Yesterday I went running (for the third time in my life) and today I'm thankful for aching muscles, because it means my running paid off.
ReplyDeleteI'm thankful for a good school for my girls and good health for all of us. I'm especially thankful that I have the opportunity to go to ACFW next week. Still amazed!
I was surprised at how much I liked it! Couldn't barely keep up, but I got a workout and was laughing--those two don't typically go together:) Can't wait for ACFW next week too!
DeleteI seriously need to try Zumba. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm thankful for fall. Oh, how I love it. And I'm thankful for friends who pray for me when I get frazzled. And for the fun of ACFW coming up so soon!!
I couldn't make it w/o the prayers of friends. And yes! Try Zumba. Everyone should at least once in life:)
DeleteYou all are making me think I should try Zumba too. Right now walking the dog is my primary exercise.
ReplyDeleteI'm thankful for my son getting back from a tournament in Huntsville and that he loves college so much.
I can't wait for ACFW. I hope I get to meet you all there! We're a week away (I'm usually a day late on my email and blogs.)
Have a great week preparing!
