Thanksgiving Break









Hey all! I'm going to be taking a break this week to celebrate Thanksgiving.

Gonna clean up the house. Mash some potatoes. Cook a turkey and maybe a pie. Hang out with family. Watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade--I still love the Rockettes! Do some Christmas decorating. And avoid the craziness of all retail shops on Friday.

Oh yes, I also aim to finish this 1000 piece puzzle! I began it on Friday and after pecking away at it all weekend, Hubby and I spent two hours on it last night. My goal is to have it finished and packed away before needing to set the table on Thursday. A pretty lofty goal as all the pieces left are tiny and look exactly alike...

So what are you up to this week? Traveling or having everyone over to your house? And who out there will be shopping on Friday?

    Your plans sound splendid! I plan on doing a bit of that myself. ;-)

    I love the Thanksgiving Day Parade . . . and I love doing puzzles, too! We haven't done one in awhile though.

    Enjoy your break! We're travelling for Thanksgiving - but I will get a little food prep in too! I'm the designated sweet potato souffle lady this year. Have a very Happy Thanksgiving!

    Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!
    We are going to celebrate with one side of the family on Thursday, and the other on Sunday - all here in town. I did not grow up with family nearby, so I love that my kids are and that they enjoy it so much.
