Bookshelf Friday - 30 Days a devotional by D.M. Webb (and my monthly giveaway)

Ever had a friend you've never actually gotten to meet? In this day of social media, it's entirely possible! And D.M. Webb is one of those people for me. I met her two years ago in an ACFW critique group, and we hit it off. She's been an immense help to me, and I've had the pleasure of watching her be published. Today I want to feature her 30 day devotional, 30 Days. Here's a blurb and we'll chat after:)

Do you desire to no longer be alone? Do you yearn for understanding and hope? Do you wish for a closer walk with Jesus? When a relationship ends, whether through divorce or death, it leaves us with heartache and sadness. Fear of loneliness overwhelms our soul. Anger at God consumes us. We are suddenly thrust into unknown territory, lost and bewildered. Psalm 147:3 He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds. 30 Days: A Devotional Memoir brings you deeply moving stories to strengthen your walk and bring you closer to Christ. Author D. M. Webb shares her three year spiritual journey with a collection of thirty devotions designed to reach out and uplift those who have endured the turbulent emotions that come with divorce, widowhood, and single parenting. Reach out, place your hand in His, and begin your journey today.

This book lays out a month's worth of short devotions meant to keep your focus on God, remembering that he is our true helper and all comfort is found in him. We can look elsewhere, even desire to find it in other places, but until we allow him to be our full source of all our needs we won't ever truly be content. D.M. speaks from a place of brokenness and hurt, having walked through those fires and come out the other side with an unshakable knowledge that God is truly all she needs.

You can purchase 30 Days here and meet Daphne just below. She was sweet enough to play a round of Would You Rather with me:)

Would you rather:
Wear only 80's clothes
OR
Wear only 80's hair?

Her answer?
I had a nightmare that I was forced to" fix" my hair with that 80s frou frou puff of bangs, just short of being a rooster tail on top. So I will have to go with the dreaded 80s clothing...but since I was a kid during the 80s then that would be cool... but can I nix the tube socks?

LOL. I'll let you nix the tube socks, but you must keep the bangles, netted-fingerless-gloves, and neon colors:) And since that's all back in again, I'll go with 80s clothes too!

Hope you all have a great weekend! Check out more about Daphne below and continue scrolling down for my monthly give away!
