Friends, today is one of those days where I want to throw the towel in. Defeat isn’t just a whisper in my ear, it’s a shout in my face, telling me to give up on dreams, friendships, hopes, plans...everything that just doesn’t seem to be working in this moment.
This. This, my friends, is why we need to know the word of God. It’s never an “if” days like this come, it’s “when” they come. What will we use in battle if not the Word? God’s truths, his promises, his very word are our weapons—and they are undefeatable.
Things like—No weapon formed against us shall prevail. Isaiah 54:17
He KNOWS the plans he has for us and they are to prosper us...to give us a HOPE and a future. Jeremiah 29:11
All his promises are a yes. 2 Cor. 1:20
He came to give us abundant life. John 10:10
He uses ALL things for his good. Romans 8:28
He loves us so much that he rejoices over us with singing:) Zeph. 3:17

Philippians 4:4 "Rejoice in the Lord always and again I say Rejoice." is one of my favorite verses.I am struggling with 2 weeks of awful health issues. I feel defeated but I will keep rejoicing. Great post. :-)
